My Present 

Hi there, my name is Nate and I am the Head of Operations at Fairport. In my role, I am responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company alongside the CEO. This involves leading, motivating, and supporting our staff, tracking staffing requirements, and hiring employees as needed. I also maintain consistent internal communication with our team and develop processes and procedures to enhance the company's efficiency. Additionally, I oversee each department to ensure services are being met and the fleet, including client satisfaction.

My favorite part about my job is satisfying our clients by easing the burden of yacht ownership. I enjoy maintaining a unique relationship with our clients.

My Past

I grew up in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and worked and played on the water. After graduating from Eckerd College in Florida with a Business Management degree, I began my career on super yachts. After almost a decade of serving onboard some of the most prestigious yachts in the world, I stepped ashore in early 2018 to continue my career within the superyacht industry, specifically within the field of yacht management.

My Future

My goals include attending leadership training opportunities to enhance my ability to make positive impacts on people and lead and motivate people to follow their passion within the yachting industry. I also aim to enhance company systems and processes to build on the existing stellar reputation of Fairport as an industry-leading yacht management firm.

I am passionate about providing each and every yacht owner with expertise and quality service to ensure they can enjoy their investment without a worry in the world.

My Outside-office Life

I am a proud husband and father living in Palm Beach near my extended family. I can't get enough of the water and enjoy everything that Florida has to offer via our family pontoon boat!

Fast Facts 

I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Mama Ada Foundation, an international NGO that stimulates economic development in the Rift Valley of Kenya by creating education and entrepreneurship opportunities.

While in school, I circumnavigated the globe with “Semester At Sea” – a converted cruise ship and a unique floating campus that brings together university students, visiting 10 countries, resulting in adventure, community, and life-changing experiences.

My Favorite podcast is “SmartLess” – genuine humor with authentic people to transition myself out of my busy days!

My guilty pleasure are warm chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, smothered in peanut butter and drizzled with syrup.
