My Present

Hi there, my name is Cassidy Carrington, and I’m the Junior Yacht Manager at Fairport Global. In this role, I support the daily operations of a fleet of luxury yachts by managing maintenance schedules, budgets, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations. I serve as a point of contact for both captains and crew, offering assistance and resolving operational issues as they arise. What I enjoy most about my job is that no two days are ever the same—there's always something new to address, which keeps the work both exciting and challenging.

My Past

I was born and raised in Miami Beach, where my love for the water began at a young age. This passion led me to a career in watersports, first as an instructor and later as a captain. I eventually transitioned into yachting, where I worked in various roles including stewardess, deckhand, and watersports instructor. These experiences gave me invaluable hands-on knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of yacht operations from a crew perspective.

In a land-based role, I further honed my expertise in yacht management, operations, and compliance. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration through online courses at the University of Florida. This allows me to combine my maritime experience with business knowledge to enhance my effectiveness in yacht management.

My Future

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing in yacht management. I aim to take on more senior responsibilities in the future, focusing on overseeing a large fleet and expanding my knowledge base. Personally, I’m committed to continuing my education and developing my leadership skills. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the success and growth of Fairport Global, helping to provide exceptional service to our clients while advancing my career.

My Outside-Office Life

When I’m not working, you can often find me on the water or outdoors with my two toy poodles. I also enjoy taking interesting online courses and reading to expand my knowledge in both personal and professional areas.
