Amanda Furia

My Present 

Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am a Senior Yacht Accounts Manager at Fairport. I am here to provide financial support to both the owner and Captain(s) of the vessels I manage. I help manage everything from monthly financials, budgets, debit cards, payables, payroll, crew-related issues, and more. In addition, I assist with the training of new accounting/administrative staff in our Palm Beach office.

My Past

Although I was born in New Jersey, I moved to South Florida as a young child and therefore consider myself a true Florida native. I studied accounting at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL, but quickly returned to the yachting hub of the world, Fort Lauderdale, upon graduation. This accounting background has allowed me to work professionally in various exciting industries including restaurant, hospitality, and aviation. Since joining Fairport Yacht Support in 2017 I have been able to add yachting to that list.

My Future

I am always striving for personal and professional growth. I want to become better every day. I like to know every aspect of anything I am involved in so I can tackle everything that comes my way. I am not afraid to take risks and I am confident that I will always succeed in one way or another. I never give up!

My Outside-office Life

I love all outdoor activities that I can enjoy with my family. I look forward to traveling and am always planning for my next adventure. I come from a big Italian family and cooking Sunday gravy surrounded by lots of family and friends is my absolute favorite!
